In addition to postdoc openings in individual research groups, the ELBE Postdoctoral Fellows Program offers fully funded fellowships in an international and cross-disciplinary research environment. Selection is based on scientific merit. We seek outstanding postdoctoral researchers with backgrounds in Computational Biology, Theoretical Physics, Biophysics, Bioinformatics, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, or Cell and Developmental Biology and a strong interest to work in the cross-disciplinary environment of the CSBD. ELBE Postdoctoral Fellows are independent and have the opportunity to collaborate with more than one research group to bridge between disciplines. The appointment is typically for two years with the possibility of a one-year extension to three years in total. Extensions beyond three years are not possible.
