Duties & Responsibilities
Conduct applied research in the field of lithium-ion battery reliability for grid and EV applications.
Develop and validate battery cell/pack models to support cell selection and system design.
Present and report technical results.
Qualifications
PhD degree with lithium-ion battery modeling experience.
Extensive experience in modeling electrochemical and thermal behavior of lithium-ion battery cell and pack.
Extensive experience with MATLAB, Simulink, COMSOL and Python and similar data analysis tools.
Expertise in Battery Management System algorithm development for state estimation (SOC and SOH), power capability and remaining energy.
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to work in a team.
Experience
3 years of experience in battery research after PhD.
Proven research record.
Working experience in battery for power grid and electric vehicle applications.
